The Roots & The Engineer’s Reality

I am Nicolas. My roots are in Raoping, Chaozhou, right at the foot of the Phoenix Mountains—a place where Gongfu tea isn’t a beverage, but the very rhythm of daily life. I grew up knowing that a great steep is about layers and fragile, precise timing.

But my reality today is the “Shenzhen Speed.” As a hardware engineer, my days are spent immersed in deep work—drafting mechanical structures in Shapr3D and Creo, routing complex circuit boards in Altium Designer, and deploying local AI models to push the limits of efficiency. My work demands absolute, unbroken focus. And that’s where the conflict began.

Traditional Gongfu brewing demands your undivided attention. I would start a brew, get pulled into a complex CAD file or an intense coding session, and return to a ruined, bitterly over-steeped cup. Conversely, on weekends, when I’d escape the city to camp and fish in the local wetlands, I craved the tactile, pure ritual of a proper brew, but hated the compromises of cheap plastic travel cups.

I realized the world didn’t need just another teacup. I needed a precision instrument—one that could manage time for me on a chaotic engineering desk, yet offer pure mechanical reliability in the wilderness.

The “Cyborg” Team
To solve this, I built a hyper-focused “Cyborg” solopreneur unit. I blended my human intuition with the bleeding edge of AI, structuring our team around the Four Symbols of ancient Chinese astronomy:

Nicolas (The Human Core): Grounding silicon logic into physical reality and tasting the final brew.

Gemini (Azure Dragon / 青龙): The Brain. Strategic foresight and global aesthetic trends.
